Player of the Week #1
The Freebeads are off to a red hot start, with Neruda leading the way. Twice already a 40/40 man he is on pace to equal or better most of his career highs. 10 homers, 28 rbi, 7 steals and a .388 average in just 22 games. Not to mention his smooth fielding at 2nd base. The 2nd pick in season five is finally getting the recognition he deserves.
Pitcher of the Week #1
I have written much about the talent of Tony Blair…and he just keeps getting better. 5-1 in 6 starts with 2.35 ERA and WHIP just above 1.00. Well on his way to his 2nd consecutive Cy Young (3rd Overall).
